Palfinger UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Todd as the new Managing Director effective May 1st, 2024, following the retirement of Alan Johnson at the end of 2023.
Stuart had been part of the PUK Senior Leadership Team for over 5 years. He joined the business as financial controller following the 2018 acquisition of Palfinger’s Scottish distributor, Outreach Truck Ltd. He was promoted to Commercial Director in January 2021 having not only demonstrated a high level of accounting competency and business acumen, but also an immersed financial understanding of operations at a transactional level. Since that appointment, Stuart has directed the commercial aspects of Palfinger UK and, with the support of an experienced and knowledgeable leadership team, has navigated PUK successfully through the first quarter of 2024.
Alex Scott, CEO, of T H WHITE Group, expressed gratitude towards the interim Palfinger UK Managing Director, stating, “I wish to take this opportunity to thank Stuart for taking on the interim role and leading the team following Alan’s departure. Following a discussion with the Palfinger UK Heads of Department and the Board of Directors of T H WHITE Holdings Ltd, Stuart has been offered the permanent role from 1st May 2024, and he has accepted it. The new Managing Director’s appointment heralds a new chapter for Palfinger UK, and the team is poised to support the leadership as they steer the company towards continued success.”
