T H WHITE Group exits Motor Trade

T H WHITE has sold its remaining Motor Group business and freehold site in Swindon to Johnsons Cars Ltd, one of the largest independent car dealerships in the country.

Johnsons Cars Ltd is a well-respected dealer operating from multiple sites. It has existing presence of Mazda and Volvo dealerships in Swindon and it also supplies vehicles produced by Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Lexus, Mazda, Seat, Škoda, Toyota, Volvo and Volkswagen in other locations.

The decision to exit the motor trade sector follows the sale of T H WHITE’s Wootton Bassett Land Rover business in 2015. The sale of the Fiat Chrysler Automobile (FCA) brand centre has resulted from a strategic decision which will see T H WHITE Group focus on its core machinery divisions, Projects division and Energy, Fire Security division.

T H WHITE’s Motor Group team has built a strong reputation for customer service backed by FCA product quality. They continue to be celebrated by FCA UK as one of their best dealers in the country and Johnsons Cars welcome this commitment and professionalism to their workforce. The entire staff of the FCA Swindon branch have transferred to Johnsons Cars Ltd and will trade from Swindon with a wider brand folio.
