Monday 6 May saw 115 Fordson, Ford, New Holland and Ford Conversion tractors assemble at Rowde, near Devizes, for The Big Ford Tractor Working Day.
The annual event held at Jim Butler’s Farm, and organised and run by our Agricultural team at Marlborough under Leadership of Andrew Collier and Justin Moore, raises funds for charity and usually attracts around 2,500 Spectators. T H WHITE Agriculture, together with our manufacturer partners New Holland UK and Vaderstad UK, proudly supported the event with equipment and prizes for entrants. Six tractors even came from as far afield as Northern Ireland and the rest from all over England.
The event has established a large following, both among our customers and people attracted by social media, helping to raise over £3,000 for this year’s nominated charities – Dorothy House Hospice Care, Freewheelers Blood Bikes and the Forever Friends Appeal at the Bath Royal United Hospital.
