Once again the Machinery Imports team is excited to host a stand at the upcoming SALTEX event at the NEC in Birmingham, promising an even bigger and better presence this year in line with the exciting growth the business is seeing both through sales and personnel.

With a stand space of 175m2, almost 50m2 larger than the two award-winning 2017 stands combined, the team will be showcasing the range of innovative machinery available now and in the future from leading brands Ferris, Wright, Spider and Jensen.

Displaying all four brands together in one space not only helps the growing team to work closely together to support visitors to the stand, no matter their machine of interest, but also enables interested parties to see the full line-up available from Machinery Imports including pedestrian, zero- turn ride on, stand on and robotic mowers, as well as a wide range of woodchippers that can be bought in PTO, tracked, towed or specialist formats.

Launching at the show this year will be the brand-new innovation from Spider, the X Line, which builds on the success of the ILD01 and ILD02 models whilst boasting a compact size, the ability to mow on slopes up to 55° with an integrated winch and productivity equal to three operators with strimmers. Visitors to the show will also have the chance to see firm favourites from the existing range including the ILD01 and larger ILD02 model.

To highlight the industry-leading, patented suspension available on the Ferris range of mowers, there will be a dynamic display showing just how that works in practice, and members of our team will be pleased to discuss the benefits that users realise from riding a Ferris mower. Also on display will be a range of Ferris models of various sizes including the 400S, the smallest ride-on mower in the line-up, introduced in 2018. The zero turn, compact 400S features not only a powerful 23hp Briggs and Stratton Commercial Series petrol engine and patented all-round suspension, but also an innovative 48in ‘Triple Deck’ offering interchangeable configurations of mulch, side, rear and 50/50 mulch-rear discharge options. All new 400S models sold come with a free service stand too, making deck changes and maintenance quick and simple.

Launching at the event from Ferris is the the all new ISX^®800Z, which will be available from 2019.

Brand new from Ferris, the zero-turn, ride-on ISX^®800Z features the latest technology to provide a commercial mower with superior performance, quality and comfort. The 132cm rear discharge deck features a factory-fitted mulching insert as well as Ferris iCD™ technology, with the user also benefiting from mowing speeds up to 16km/h.

All new to the industry is the addition of a double wishbone suspension system, providing increased contact with the turf for more uniform, high quality mowing, as well as ensuring a more comfortable ride over bumps and dips in the ground with improved steering and handling.

Wright stander mowers, the original stand-on mowers within the sector, will be displayed on the stand with an update to their already class-leading design to include a new electric start system making operation quicker and easier for novice and experienced user alike.

From Jensen, the German woodchipper manufacturer, visitors will be able to learn more about company’s primary range, custom builds and Unimog mounted chippers, as well as some of the most popular towed and tracked models such as the A530 and A540 machines. With the widest range of woodchippers in the industry and the ability to supply turntable units on all 8in to 12in chippers, Jensen really does have a machine for everybody.
