The heavyweight, 80-ton champion of the Doosan excavator range, the DX800LC-7, has been designed without compromise to offer overwhelming performance, more power than ever and unbelievable durability.

Mounted on heavy duty crawler tracks and powered by a Stage V version of the 540hp Perkins 2506J 6-cylinder engine, the Doosan DX800LC-7 will meet and exceed the toughest demands in applications such as large quarries, while delivering outstanding fuel efficiency. That’s thanks in large part to the new, electronically-controlled hydraulic system which uses only the exact amount of hydraulic flow necessary for each action.

Faster, more efficient working is combined with enhanced safety features including a unique design of crossed bearings for better stress distribution and increased working life. Advanced filtration includes a a cyclonic air pre-cleaner as standard to prevent the majority of heavier-than-air particles from entering the air intake. Self-cleaning and maintenance-free, the system is able to expel all types of mixed debris.

Rugged toughness, safety and durability are matched by operator comfort. The ‘CabSus’ mount suspension system dampens vibrations and provides far more effective impact protection than a conventional silentblock suspension system. A comfort seat and air-conditioning with automatic climate control make DX800LC-7 cab a pleasant place to work, whatever the conditions and whatever the weather.
