Running a front mounted press ahead of a combination drill might look old school to some, but why have a dead weight on the front of your tractor to counterbalance your drill when, with a front press, you will not only speed up the drilling operation but also level, cultivate and consolidate ahead of your combi drill?

This is exactly what the range of HE-VA front presses has been designed to do. Cleverly, the long headstock has been engineered to ‘pull’ not ‘push’ the press in work. With steering rollers in the headstock it allows the press to follow the tractor accurately, essential when using a steering guidance system. The press then automatically centres itself when lifted at the headland for increased stability while making a headland turn and in transport.
