Opening their first serviced offer in 2008 in Swindon, Pure Offices is now an expanding serviced offices group with 23 locations throughout the UK and Scotland. Serving multiple clients from start-ups to global corporates, Pure provides virtual spaces, meeting rooms, and flexible office solutions to meet the demands of modern businesses and such clients are already on their EV journey meaning the convenience of charging infrastructure when using their office space is a must.
T H WHITE Energy, Fire & Security (EFS) was recommended by Pure’s sister company, as an accredited installer of EV charge points in workplaces, streets, and public spaces throughout the UK. Pure requested a solution to provide occupiers and visitors with added value in a self-service manner with minimal involvement from its Centre Managers. Successfully winning the project EFS went on to install multiple charge points across 13 sites in Oxford, Swindon, Southampton, two in Leeds, Weston Super Mare, Warrington, Leamington Spa, Farnborough, Cheadle, Birmingham, Aylesbury, Gloucester and Bristol, not forgetting one upgrade in Birmingham.
Each installation involved us designing and supplying groundwork and electrical connectivity with some requirements to extend or adjust existing parking bays to accommodate the new chargers. The installation involved traffic management plans to minimize disruption on site whilst keeping the offices open and fully operational. Sites were fitted with Dual 22Kw fast-charging Swarco Evolve post or wall units giving visitors and occupiers a typical full charge in 4-6 hours (depending on vehicle capacity). The installation also included back office and billing functions making for seamless administration for Pure.
