Diesel bug is not something you want to experience. 

This brown/black slime looks rather like frogspawn and has a pungent, eggy odour. It can grow in diesel fuel tanks where water is also present due to wet conditions or air entering the tank and causing condensation. Before long, it will block your fuel filters.
